Designed to work inside Adobe Photoshop, Extensis' Web Font Plug-in provides web designers with free access to thousands of WebINK fonts, sourced from world-renowned foundries, for use in their web designs.
For the vast majority of web designers, the creative process begins on the desktop in Adobe Photoshop, where they create initial mock-ups, before quickly moving to the web for final production.
The Web Font Plug-in frees web designers from needing to license desktop fonts to do mockups of their web site designs.
Today, Extensis is streamlining the web design process with its new Web Font Plug-in for Photoshop, which gives designers the freedom to design offline, find the font that best meets their design needs, and then license the font when they are ready to go live on the web. Users simply activate a free web font account on Extensis WebINK and the Web Font Plug-in provides free use of WebINK fonts - from foundries like Optimo, Our Type, and Dalton Maag - for mocking up web site content.
The free Web Font Plug-in Beta is available for immediate download and is delivered with a trial version of Extensis' industry standard font management software, Suitcase Fusion 3. The web font plug-in will continue to operate for free even after the Suitcase Fusion software trial has ended. For download information and more details, see:
Existing Suitcase Fusion 3 users get the Web Font Plug-in as a free update.
