CU is pleased to announce it has been awarded the QICM (Quality in Credit Management) accreditation, a formal recognition of an organisation's commitment to quality, continuous improvement and best practice in all things credit.
CU will hold this award for two years, and is the 40th company in the UK to gain this accreditation - and the 1st Distributor - joining the likes of Shell, EDF, GB Oils, GlaxoSmithkline, Segro, Virgin Media and Veolia.
To gain the accreditation a company must successfully complete an assessment process focusing on six key areas of the credit department, including:
The process has been designed to establish if the credit department is properly supporting it's respective business or organisation. According to the ICM, "The quality of the Credit Management function is an essential factor in an organisation's performance, profitability and sustainability."
